A Volkswagen wagon. A 2017 Sportwagon with 10k miles, all dealer miles though. This is my first VW. Third station wagon. Ive missed having a long roof. I’m really impressed by it but I’m also very used to beaters and economy cars.

Congrats! I think those are a great looking ride. There’s a nice red one and a white Alltrack that are always at my son’s school that catch my eye.

Thanks! The Alltracks are nice but get pricey fast. I had a Volvo XC70 years ago and always regretted not getting a normal V70, figured I’d feel the same way if I got into an Alltrack now.

Congrats! My wife has a 2016 SEL w the xenon lights and sunroof. We love it. It is our road trip car and surprisingly peppy and a comfortable cruiser at the same time. We also have a roof box that adds a ton of storage space for when we go on longer trips.
As an FYI if you are interested there is a plug and play ECU tune which is marketed by APR...it is a blast.

How much are these apr tunes? I hear they’re installed by dealers and don’t cancel out warranties. Asking for a friend.

Nice. I know a guy who bought one a few months ago. He does warranty work on appliances and drives 10,000+ per month and loves his . If that’s not a good testament for a car I don’t know what is

Congrats! I just turned 500 miles on the 2018 AllTrack I bought replacing my ‘89 Toyota truck. Not our first VW, though, as my wife’s ‘04 Jetta 1.8T sedan still runs well (only 65,000 miles on it, so of course it’s in good shape). Enjoy!

Negative, most of the wagons seem to be DSG which so far most of the MK7 owners seem to prefer.

I didn’t realize it got the DSG. I thought that was only in the Golf R or GTI. That’s cool then. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. I figured they were only putting a standard auto in it.
